All About M's!

The M in M's...

Meredith Willett - owner "" of M's Canvashouse - opened her retail shop in Lexington, Kentucky in 1991 and opened another store located in Louisville in 2009. Meredith has been an avid needlepointer since she was a little girl. One of her first projects was a needlepoint pincushion for her Mother.

In 1998, Meredith became owner of the Elizabeth Turner Collection. She enjoys creating new designs, custom Church kneelers, attending Markets, and meeting others in the business who share her passion for needlepoint.

Meredith not only teaches in her shop but is actively involved in the American Needlepoint Guild, teaching on a national level. She has had articles published in the national magazine, Needlepointers and the independent magazine, Needlepoint Now. In addition to writing aritcles, teaching, running her retail and wholesale businesses, Meredith co-authored Knots, Fur and Turkeywork with her friend Beth Robertson (author of the Stitches for Effect books).

Always eager to learn, Meredith has attended classes at the Royal School of Needlework in London, studied goldwork in several museums and cathedrals in England and Scotland, and has taken goldwork classes from Jane Lemon and Tracy Franklin. She recently taught Needlepoint at the Lady Anne Clifford Event in England and Scotland. Meredith truly enjoys sharing her vast knowledge with her students.

The staff at both locations of M's Canvashouse are dedicated stitchers who each contribute in unique ways to the creative environment of the shop.
